Oh! How I Hate to Get Up in the Morning, a song by Irving Berlin produced on U.S. Army time for the Army benefit show, Yip Yip Yaphank (1918). I believe the version used in the show used the opening verse from the Irving Kaufman recording; the opening verse here was probably made for publication. This is Edison Blue Amberol #3639, which was created using Edison Diamond Disc matrix #6287.

Piano Roll recording of Scott Joplin playing "Maple Leaf Rag" in 1916. Midi conversion by PlayerRoll, and found at: http://www.pianola.co.nz. Re-recorded as audio by Major Bloodnok using Cubase. The original Piano Roll had been scanned and converted to a MIDI file by PlayerRoll, but the work remains in the public domain. This is one of a number of rare recordings by Joplin. It also demonstrates the deterioration of his health, specifically its impact on his piano playing. Original UniRecord, 1916. Maple Leaf Rag published 1899. The Canadian national anthem, "O Canada", played by the United States Navy Band in the early 2000s. The song was originally commissioned by Lieutenant Governor of Quebec Théodore Robitaille for the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day ceremony, 1880. The music was written by Calixa Lavallée as a setting of a French Canadian patriotic poem composed by Sir Adolphe-Basile Routhier. The lyrics were translated to English in 1906, Robert Stanley Weir wrote another English version in 1908, which were revised thrice before taking their current form in 2018. Was converted to Ogg format using Audacity (Originally uploaded on en.wikipedia).

I recorded this while searching for farm sounds. On the recording you can hear footsteps in the grass, then the opening of the latch in the gate to the field and then further steps. This short recording was made during a sound search in the scotish border area of scotland. I recorded on the zoom h5 handy recorder, i used superlux headphones. Sound recording on sandisk ultra 32gb card. Enjoy and have a great time for everyone. Best regards :).

Save A Little Dram For Me song from United States prohibition era. MEDIUM: 1 sound disc : analog, 80 rpm ; 10 in. CREATED/PUBLISHED Orange, N.J.: Edison. Lyrics: (spoken) In the middle of the sermon, Parson Johnson rose and started sniffing the air. There was a peculiar smell tricklin’ up the parson’s nose. That told him that gin was ‘round somewhere. And he closed his Bible gently in the middle of the psalm and started figurin’ mentally where that smell was coming from. His eyes scanned every pew, and then he did declare, he says “I announce this meetin’ through… (sung) …until you kick in with my share.” Oh Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. Glory hallelujah Why drinkin’ gin ain’t against my teachin’. Treat me with equality. (spoken) From this here smell it’s very plain to see That somebody here’s been holding out on me. (sung) For Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. (spoken) Now when they passed the bone dry law, I was the very first to say that it never would stay And neither did I think the law could regulate our thirst. That’s why I’ve got some stored away. Now since prohibition’s got us drinks is few and far between. Of all the stingy brothers you’re the worst I’ve ever seen. But I insist on my share. Don’t say it’s all run out Or else you’re going where-- You know that bad place I been preachin’ ‘bout? (sung) For Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. Glory hallelujah Why drinkin’ gin ain’t against my teachin’. Treat me with equality. (spoken) I’ve shared your joy and I’ve shared your sin And believe me brothers I’m gwine to share your gin. (sung) For Bretheren if you want more preachin’ Save a little dram for me. Українська: «Збережи для мене трохи драм», пісня з епохи сухого закону США, випущена в 1922 році.

This clip is a short walk from a walking path heading out to shollenberger wetlands in petaluma, ca. The path is a short diversion into a small wooded area leading to a creek that was rushing pretty heavily due to a recent rainfall. There is a small waterfall making rushing sounds in the creek where the recording ends. The person steps on a log, and breaks a twig on the way to the water's edge.
